A California woman says that the apartment she shares with her asthmatic son has been flooded six times over the past two years. Because of this, fungi has started growing inside the apartment, resulting in mushrooms sprouting from her carpet<\/em>.<\/p>\n

According to a Fox News Report<\/a>, Natalie Wise and her 11-year-old son have lived in the Diablo Riviera Apartments on Fulton Avenue for two years. She says her landlord has done nothing to help with the flooding problem, even after mushrooms began to sprout up from the mold.<\/p>\n

\u201cI looked down to vacuum and I saw this (fungus growing in the carpet),\u201d Wise told Fox40. \u201cAt first, I thought he (Wise\u2019s son) had peeled an orange, and I got down closer and I realized it was a mushroom.\u201d<\/p>\n

While apartment living often has its problems, no one should have to pay to live in an environment like this.
